I was born in Rochester but grew up in Phoenix, where it’s really, really hot. (I mean it; I’ve lived through 122 degrees! -Oh the stories I could tell you.) I moved back to Rochester in ’97 where I rediscovered the concept of FOUR seasons, including winter, which brings SNOW. Consequently, I also discovered the joy that comes from driving in snow, as well as the backache that comes from shoveling it.
Before radio I was a police dispatcher and 911 operator for about 13 years. That was a stressful and hectic job, which taught me how to handle pressure and not sweat the small stuff. I am currently finishing my degree in broadcast communications at SUNY Brockport (last semester, yeah!)
I have three talented and intelligent boys (can you tell I’m proud?) whom will no doubt become rich and successful when they get older, enabling me to retire and live the life I truly deserve. Until that day, I’ll keep plugging away, and hopefully you’ll spend some time with me, listening to WBEE. -Give me a call and tell me what you want to hear, 222-WBEE!
