THE 2008 NY STATE BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION INTERN PROGRAM
Internship Description
For thirty years, the New York State Office of Children & Family Services and the New York State Broadcasters Association have jointly sponsored an employment/student training program to be offered by radio and television members of the New York State Broadcasters Association.
The program will provide participating student interns the opportunity to experience “first hand” the operational procedures of a radio station.
Eligibility Requirements
It is the intent of this program to actively recruit and hire interns that are:
- At least 18 years of age, but less than 22 at time of entry
- High school or undergraduate college students
- Residents of New York State or attending school in New York State
- First time entrants to the program

- Reliable transportation is necessary
- Relatives of employees are ineligible to participate

All applications must be received by Friday, April 18, 2008 to be considered.
Selection Process
All eligible applications will be considered for The NY State Broadcasters Association Intern Program at Entercom Rochester, LLC. Following review of applications, the field will be narrowed and a number of students will be contacted via telephone for an interview. Final selection of the 2008 NYSBA Intern will be at the station’s discretion.
